Teamsters of 2019. Some wives have been trained to drive a team of horses, helping out when needed. Just like they would have done in the 1840s. Sister Mecham loves this.
Pioneer Pastimes is a fun place for kids young and old. Here the Young Sister Missionaries are giving the stilts ago. This is a fun challenge for the older kids. Some get pretty good at it.
The climbing bears are a hit too. Here Stacie, Eric and Sam are racing their bears to the top.
Fox and Geese is another challenging game. Here Rylee solves the puzzle with a little help from a jingle we use. Always choose the right. Some days are up and some days are down. 2 scoops of ice cream make the world go around.
You can dress up in pioneer clothes, both big and small. Paige shows off her attire. Isn't she a cute pioneer girl?
Hoop tossing is a favorite game here. Sam and Eric got pretty good at it.
Good old Tug O War between mother and daughter.
Stick pulling was Joseph Smith's favorite. He was pretty good too.
Old fashion bowling, or Ten pins.
Young Performing Missionaries stop by to play and to play with the children.
We love the band.
Stacie and Eric learn the hoop game. Pushing a hoop along with a stick. Not easy.
The family join us on the Wagon Tour, with grandpa driving and grandma narrating.
Paige love the horses.
Visiting the Old Nauvoo Cemetery. We have ancestors buried here.
The carriage ride with grandpa, on a lovely day.
Grandpa demonstrating how to make a tin pan.
