Easter Week

This week started out with a visit from my good teacher friends, Tami Zirker and Colleen Bowcutt, from Roosevelt.  It was so good to see someone from home.
Then a surprise visit from cousin, Sharon and Frank Schofield.  They were on their way to Tennessee, serving a mission there.
Cultural hall upstairs, where dances were held back in 1843.
The Jensens from Hooper come to serve here too.  I found out that their son lives across the road from where Dad did in Warren.
Love the new green with the black cows and the river in the background.
The grain station in the background.

The Stone Arch Bridge.  One of the main drains out of Nauvoo.
Happy Easter.  The flowers are blooming full force today and it was a lovely one.

The Women's garden at the visitor center.  So thankful to be here.

Elder Cornwell caught these lovely photos of the moon with the Nauvoo Temple.

I just love the photos Stacy posted of their family's Spring break, Easter and her birthday.
Wayne surprised her with a new diamond ring for her birthday.  She had lost her's several years ago.  He had proposed to her here on temple square under this old tree 18 years ago.
And...more.  Logan & Sakora going to Prom.  Lovely...even with 2 broken ribs.

Dreaming of spring days coming...

It is the slow season.  Feb. 26, the wind blew, so working on the wagon was brisk.  I am bundled up with two coats, hat, scarf and more. ...
