Frosty, cold, brrrr....

Things are slower here in Nauvoo this month.  As of late the weather is very cold.  We have closed down the sites 2 days in a row and tomorrow doesn't look promising for opening either.  We had an ice storm Friday evening that covered everything in a thick layer of ice.  The temperature right now is 2 degrees.  So the nice mild winter we had experienced up to this point has left.

Here is a shot of looking out our window through the frost.

Working at Family Living Center with this cute couple the Draneys from Star Valley, Wyo.

Sewing projects to do on these cold winter days.

Tony's birthday celebration with his family.  Football and cereal.  Happy day Tony.

A change here in Nauvoo.  Pres. & Sister Luavardi have completed their mission here and went home on Jan. 18.  Our new Site Director and his wife, Pres. & Sister Rizley arrived on the 18th.

Dreaming of spring days coming...

It is the slow season.  Feb. 26, the wind blew, so working on the wagon was brisk.  I am bundled up with two coats, hat, scarf and more. ...
